Our family lodges at the Masai Mara

Overnight stays in the Jambo Lodges

The family lodges at the edge of the Masai Mara complex! The 33 square metre lodges are comfortably furnished and have two separate bedrooms. Ideal for families with children or grandparents with grandchildren! After an eventful day in the park you can enjoy family time together in the spacious living room! And the Masai Mara open-air enclosure, where giraffes, antelopes, ostriches and green monkeys and more romp around, is only a stone’s throw away.

Facilities of the Jambo lodges

The 30 cosy houses each offer a bedroom with a double bed, a bedroom with a bunk bed, a spacious living room and a shower room. The houses are ideally suited for four people. All of the lodges are equipped with a refrigerator, television, radio, hair dryer (may be requested at reception) and Wi-Fi. Cleaning, bedding, towels and breakfast buffet are included in the price.

Accessibility

Unfortunately there are no easily accessible houses in the Jambo lodge compound. If you need an easily accessible house please make a reservation for one of the Safari Lodges.

Pets in the Serengeti Park

We love animals and in case you want to bring your dog – no problem. All we ask is that you must make sure your dog is not left unattended in the house during the day and please heed the general information regarding the mandatory use of dog leads and individual attractions. For your dog we charge 9.50 euros a day. Please register your dog when booking.

Arrival and departure

We do not charge for parking. You park your car in a secure car park within the lodge compound, directly at reception. The distance from the car park to the lodges is approx. 50 m.

  • Check-out: 11.00 am

If you arrive after 4.00 pm we do not charge any admission fee for this day.

Catering

Our bre­ak­fast buf­fet is inclu­ded in the price. And in case you also want to be indulged by us in the evening: for only 23.50 euros per person you get a buffet in our Restaurant if booked directly on site (22.50 euros when booking beforehand) – there you can eat your fill! For our young guests up to the age of 12 we offer a buffet for 12,50 euros (12 euros when booking beforehand).

Booking a Jambo Lodge

You can rent our lodges if you book park admission for at least one day. For longer stays you pay the full admission fee on the first two days, from day three on you have free park admission. Please note that you can only redeem one free ticket per stay. Children under the age of 3 are free.
