White-shouldered Capuchin | Cebus capucinus

The cute and vociferous white-shouldered capuchins live in the tropical forests of Central America at altitudes of up to 2000 meters. They also feel very comfortable in our climate. Within a group there is a clear ranking among the adult females and among the males. Both sexes are drawn the same and differ only slightly in body weight. Males can weigh up to 4 kilograms and females reach up to 3 kilograms. Capuchins like different fruits, roots, tubers and animal protein in the form of eggs and insects, which they catch from the air or dig out of the ground.
